Bull Run Biography and Contact Information  

Chicago band Bull Run formed in February 2007 when long-time friends Paul Leo (drums), Sam Linder (bass), Evan Munz (guitar), and Stefan Scherer-Emunds (vocals) decided to try out rocking out with two general aims in mind: creating worthwhile music and presenting it in an exciting fashion. With a sound that tends more towards the driving side but does not shy away from the occasional soft song, and originals that range in style from blues to reggae to punk, the members of Bull Run enjoy playing diverse sets.

In August 2008, Bull Run won the Illinois State Teen Battle of the Bands, a three round competition that featured over 100 bands from around the state. The band has also played at Oak Park’s “A Day in Our Village,” Huskiepalooza, Pilgrim Church, and various private functions.
